How is everyone coping at home during this lockdown?
I've seen crazy stuffs on IG such as story mentions on drawings upon drawings, or the "algorithm play" whatever that thing is..
While I understand these are just pure crazy things people do to pass time, the fact that it makes me skip through your IG stories without even me giving another look, sorry, you lost me there, I'm not even scrolling.. some had like so many that it doesn't seem to reach the end, so I just swipe and move on..
But if there's some interesting photos, then I don't mind giving it a second look...
I was bored, yep, just like everyone else..

Comments on my posts
First of all, take this as an apology from me to all of you.
As a matter of fact, I was wondering why there is no comments to my posts, but actually they were all in the "awaiting moderation" tab! And I conveniently forgotten to check that tab...
So yeah, I have published all the comments I've gotten, and I will take my time to respond to each comment from now on.
Last but not least, thank you for keeping on reading over the years despite the dwindling number of posts recently, I have plenty to write but work took the better half of me.

Malaysia oh Malaysia
If what the political noises tonight comes true tomorrow, it is taking us the rakyat for a ride, a blatant rude betrayal even Anwar Ibrahim himself admits its a stab in his back, and making a mockery out of those overseas who battled the odds to make their votes count during the 14th general election.
I see it as a disgust coup and I would have preferred a snap general election to a backdoor illegitimate immoral government.
I would still vote for Pakatan Harapan or whatever it will be called tomorrow.
Indeed, one can't change the spots on a leopard. And the leopard has now shown its true colours.

Welcome 2020
I almost forgot about this!
But recently some guys reminded me that they still read my blog, and need some "answers" or "closures" as to what happened to other bloggers of the early 2000s.. A lot of them stopped writing around the time Facebook came about..
Looking back, I have been writing for about 17 years now.. It all started when I moved to Singapore in 2003.. I needed an outlet to vent about my life about being alone in a foreign country and things like that..
Throughout the years, I am glad how this blog helped some of you come out, how this blog gave you hope to that being gay is fabulous, how this blog lets you know that you are not alone..
Perhaps the style of writing has also evolved much.. it used to be a lot about bitching about life and venting about life's inadequacies.. then somehow it turned into a soft-core porn-ish photoblog.. and then later in recent years it's about my travel shenanigans..
But I am still around, still writing.. In fact I still love writing.. Although you can now follow me in my Instagram (I post more there than here, in fact!), so feel free!
Lastly, welcome to 2020 and another year of blogging!

A short Hatyai getaway
When I said I am not travelling at the moment, I am just lying..
Because end of August during the National Day, I went with my friends on a roadtrip to Hatyai.. We took the train from KL to the international border and crossed into Thailand on foot..
This is a video that I made using my GoPro..
It was a 3D3N roadtrip where we took an overnight train departing KL Sentral and arriving at the border at 4.30am.. The Padang Besar immigration counter does not open until 6am, so we had some time to kill at the station, my friends were busy playing games whereas I was busy taking videos and editing some footages..
When the border opens, we walked into Thailand and waited for our ride.. We booked a van to take us from the border to Hatyai, an hour away.. For both ways, it costs only THB2,500 per van and there's 7 of us, so it's cheap (vs the hail-van fare of THB200 per person per way at the customs).
We stayed in PM Residence, the hotel is centrally located just walking distance to Central Hatyai (although its 1km away actually), but it's close enough to everything we needed and wanted..
This trip was to makan, so we spent a lot of the time eating.. not in the footage were DimSum 1 which was at Ahma Dimsum and McDonalds for post-dinner dinner/supper.. I didn't include AhMa Dimsum into the video because of the video length and also I did not have footages there, the shots turned out to be burst photos...
There were some really good shots, from the video, as well as photos taken by my friends..
These were the shots that didn't make it into the video.. some are personal photos so I purposely had excluded them from the video..
August is the month where I blew my money on diving equipments and this GoPro.. I bought a mask and snorkel and fins which costs about RM700 in total, and the GoPro which costs me RM1.7k.. I also spent a lot on the GoPro accessories, setting me back another few hundred..
But it's worth it, because as I am learning how to shoot GoPro videos, I also have plans what I want to shoot... every trip and every gathering and make videos out of it..
And next week I am going to Bali... to dive!
