Happy Birthday, Eric..

Double Three..

Finally..

All I wish for is great health and abundance of wealth.. Hahah.. Year after year, celebrations dwindled and soon, it's not then quantity that matters, rather the quality of the company.. Because age is just a number, if you have love, you have it all..

Cheers!

Birthday Staycation

Being a not-so-high-roller up there, I only get a free night birthday stay instead of two nights in 2015.. But then, I was given another two-nights for March school holidays, as if it will make any difference..

Business is really that bad huh, till they been dishing out free nights after free nights for everybody..

Anyway, spent the weekend with le bf up there just the two of us..

But not really enjoy cos of work!! Goodness freaking me as shitty problems at work that need instant rectification with a slowwwwww 3G connection up there makes it worst..

Yes this marks the little one week birthday celebration for me.. I'm going off on my solo trip to Cambodia.. And hope it'll be a good one cos I don't know what to do and what to expect there.. It's like I don't have anywhere else to go that I haven been before that I can fit into. A weekend (UK and Europe needs at least 2 weeks!)..

Oh and I'm not interested in ancient ruins or the sad killing fields..

POKC Damansara Uptown

Good for brunch, and well, sometimes hot guys come here to eat.. Cos the food is simple, good and not sinful, light on the mouth and is reasonably priced..

Family owned with nice interior ambience, cosy and feels just right..

This is pork burger that I had.. Served on a chopping board and meat is a whole piece of pork chop, not industrial-made patty..

Visit and try..

POKC is located right behind Village Park, same row as Ambank towards BHP Petrol..

Opens all day..

Verdict:
Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Drinks: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Price: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Variety: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Twitter hijack

It caught me off guard too...
Terasa lah me..

Working on shift rotation

So with new stuffs at work, I am now on a shift rotation which means that my day offs will no longer necessary be the weekends.. it can be any day of the week, depending on the roster..

And also no longer necessary be 9am-6pm, again it depends on the roster.. the other shift hour being 1pm - 9pm.. Hence I can sleep in later a bit and possibly tan in the mid morning, teach some swim classes.. at least while the roster is still valid for the month..

Having said that, it's really too early to judge if anything will change, but for now, this is how it will be, at least for the time being..

Just get over it

Well, some people are just not into Adele, Star Wars and Madonna..

For example, me.. I certainly won't be  willing to spend at least $108 to a concert ticket.. Maybe I'm not such a music-centric person; I gave up guitar lessons in grade 3.. I don't have a preference over which singer is better - if it's a good song, it's a good song..

Anyway in Malaysia, there's this television advertisement on Astro that labelled people who aren't into and haven't watched (any) Star Wars as "jakun".. In English, "jakun" means "aboriginal" or something to that effect..

Seriously.. I find that very unbecoming, and it shouldn't even be in a promotional advertisement.. What right does the producers have in calling people who aren't interested as aboriginal? They just showed everyone how mindless and brainless they are..

To each his own, some people just don't like it, get over it.. I've never watched any Star Wars episode since the 80s because I don't have any interests in sci-fi films or the subject matter.. I'm more of a comedy person, and also bitchy films are my numero uno must..

Haven't watch 2 Broke Girls? Devious Maids? Hot in Cleveland? What are you, a jakun?

How's that sound?

Stop the labelling because it's not cool.. How would you like it we called you fans of (whatever) derogatory labels (I just did).

But it's okay, I just turn it off whenever the advertisement comes on.. It's just distasteful, I feel..

Lots of coins

A year ago, I began saving up the loose change I found in my pockets, bags, on the floor etc..

Little by little, I kept all of them and saved them all up..

Today, I opened up my jar and counted the coins, not much, only RM80 or so..

So 2016, I have planned something more fun.. I'm going to save each and every RM5 note that I've come across..

Hopefully in a year from now, i will have more than RM80 extra Hahahaha... I'll also continue to save up the loose change..

Try it, cos it's really fun to see your money - loose change - add up..

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Spent New Year's Eve in Genting Highlands this time without alcohol Haha..

It was rainy and very windy but not that cold.. Only 16°C..

But as there's no countdown and no fireworks display, didn't stay on till midnight and came back down to KL..

Wishing everyone a good 2016!

Stay safe, play safe, be safe!
